Do you remember when they first came out?  People were whispering, "what exactly is this band?"  By now, most of you know not only what the MagicBand is but also how to use it while in the Parks.  Now the Fastpass paper ticket distribution stations at the individual rides is but a distant memory.   

They can be customized with MagicBandits and MagicSliders.  You can also pick from favorite characters or Disney movies.  So, if you are planning a trip to the Parks, here's my "insider" information on the best way to get the best Fastpass+ reservations.

1).  Stay on Property- I know, this sounds simplistic but I really must say to stay on property!  The benefit is that you get to choose your Fastpass+ reservations an entire 30 days prior to the general public.  Believe me, the best ones magically disappear.

2).  Make your reservations at 60 days.  Don't delay!  It is important to make them either at midnight the night before your 60+days or bright and early the morning of your 60-day date.

3).  Have a plan.  Decide what days you want what Park.  This can be based on your Dining Reservations or which Parks have Extra Magic Hours or both.  

4).  Decide what is important to you and your loved ones.  It's okay if you are not a roller coaster fan.  You might be a parade person.  Whatever you and yours pick will be perfect.

5).  Don't forget to Order your MagicBands on My Disney Experience.  Don't forget to Pack your MagicBands!  Believe it or not, it happens!

Please know that if you do forget to order (or pack) your MagicBands, you can still obtain the fashionable gray color at the Resort check-in.
